X-Treme's XMB-400 Electric Mobility Scooter is lightweight - compact - instantly foldable 3 wheel electric mobility scooter. This electric mobility chair weighs in at just 97 Lbs and the battery pack instantly removes to lighten the load even more so that you can easily lift it into a car or transport it up or down stairs.

The XMB-400 has a top forward travel speed of 4 MPH and will travel 2 MPH while in reverse, and it also has a Smart Braking System is built into the electronic controller and motor. When you want to slow down or stop, simply release the throttle and the scooter will gently stop you and it will hold the scooter in place while stopped, even if you are stopped on a steep hill or grade. The scooter will take off again smoothly and gently when you twist the throttle. This is one of the most important features of this electric mobility scooter.

Included on the front handlebar pole (which easily folds down for transport) is a large basket for carrying your items along with you. The metal basket is strudy and strong while also being very simple to remove for transport.
